We don’t need, electricity, gas, water, but it’s handy

Electricity

Solar cells and batteries can be expensive but after the initial cost they are very good a little set up that they have on caravans with a large cell and wind turbine is brilliant.

I   found allotments impractical .the losses to theft and pests were quite staggering .Unless you love gardening and intend to spend a substantial amount of time on at least six days a week its maintenance think again

Fuel for cooking

Gas is clean and easy but it is expensive and the price is rising all the time

Wood is an excellent material in the city it is easy to find and sometimes free .There will not be a time when you will find some gas or get it for free.

Apparently communes don’t work .They fall apart after about 10 years or change into standard community’s .Mostly because people mature and change and have different targets as they get older.
I have just read some stuff about an alternative model for a new world .I think it is called gift culture .Its when you have enough for yourself and family you start sharing the surplus around .I am often looking for workable models for a new world when this system collapses and all the banksters start saying ,"I told you so I said they couldn’t look after themselves without us bleeding them dry."
As another thought I was looking at that payday loan firm on the TV  and I am shocked and dismayed at how far the standards of television have slid to allow advertising to a section of society that need our protection not shoving deeper into debt
Anyway I keep meaning to post something about survival techniques of the fallen city .How to turn a banana into a meal for two and have a smoke with the skin and turn the skin into a pair of shoes .I d like to think I have a great deal of knowledge on the subject of narnas But I still haven’t fount the time to take pictures

politician are at a loss

Even politician are at a loss to know what to do they are kicking the can down the valley watching huge chunks fall off the glacier then a bit more melting quietly then another huge chunk comes crashing down and finally all of those structures that looked so solid have retreated to the margins and a new group of creatures and people emerge

After the huge meltdown and crashing in 2008 we are seeing a further retreat of the system  and soon another big ice tower will come crashing down .Who knows what it will reveal?

We are living in a time of change and transition .Whatever happens we will be hear facing the challenge gathering together adapting resisting and surviving

Multi global business who operate puppet government who intern manipulate the media to keep the masses hypnotised are a little like the glasiers of the last ice age .All you can see is the top and the huge freezing cold face you cannot see inside it. The cracks rivers the internal movement it’s there The glassier has had its day .It has  reached  the limits of its range and is  now starting to fall to pieces .Like the massive sabre tooth tigers who in the ice age roamed the prehistoric planes unchallenged  the corporation and banks will slowly disappear and turn into something better .

Just staying with scenarios for wtshtf and not wasting energy . The Russians turning off the gas to Europe has just gotten very real although I think that total financial meltdown is very near the top.I have provided a sort list Of possible scenarios in order of possibilities 

Total financial meltdown banks closing pension stopping no work It is slowly happening nine out of ten

Power failiers gas and electric This very close now if we upset the Russians Quite a few of our power station run on gas .eight out of ten

Volcanic eruptions .Its possible there was an eruption of a volcano in Iceland in the middle ages .The ash fall out blotted out the sun .It was known as the year without a summer .Possible but not probable two out of ten

Tsunami .Tsunami is possible one hit whales in the 1700s and did quite a bit of damage .There was a smaller one a few year sago on the coast of France so its possible not probable two out of ten

Natural weather disaster .We are very fortunate in this country we have had the odd rainstorm hurricane and heat wave but nothing too worrying  two out of ten

War . Its always a possibility sometimes it comes quick and unseen other times slow buildup  I would rate it five out of ten a

Epidemics and famines are all linked to war so if one happens the other follows  nine out of ten but not in this country
