Baseball bats and guns

Urban survival

We are living in a time of change and transition .Whatever happens we will be hear facing the challenge gathering together adapting resisting and surviving

If you have been made redundant thrown on the benefits pile, Sacked because you can eat no more poop, retired, had your pension stolen by the hedgefund manager , pissed off with a pointless job .Read on

Full time work may be becoming thing of the past unemployment is growing at a steady rate in some towns of England unemployment rates of fifty percent are not unuseual . The once beautiful historic town  where i live has seen in recent years ,deprevation and violent crime increase so much it has even shocked the street gangs .Many of whome will not go out in the dark .

We are very fortunate in Britain that there are no guns .So most crime is by basball bat or knife .We are told it is much safer not to have guns available to the masses and one would assume that it is better to be beaten to death than shot to death I must admit when you think about it in those terms it does seem much better There is a huge red light district and a small white slave trade and we have had the odd serial killer .But we are assure that every thing is now under control and its nothing unusual or to be afraid of .

We have a dedicated police force of loyal hard working individual who face it every day on our behalf only to be short changed with men and resourses and expected to do a better job and have every one they arrest let off by the courts because there are no more space in prison and we cant affrord any more prisons to be built

So there we have it increasing crime and reduced police presence .The system slowly spirals down with the occational big crash until we have a big problem That is the situation today .What will it be like after another crash
We have to look after our selves and each other

jerry aherns survivalist books

jerry aherns  are books entertaining .Beautiful pulp fiction keep the pages turning with no reference to survival techniques what so ever except blasting his way into food halls .The entertainment really overshadows the lack of technique and I kept the pages turning .I liked them so much I have just bought the entire set off eBay .Well I say entire set number 19 was missing and if I had read the description better I would have noticed it .Any way it will take a good long time for me to read up to book 19 I am only on three at the moment
The story centres around John Rourke, ex-CIA officer turned weapons and survival expert, in the aftermath of a nuclear war. The first few books cover rourke’s attempts to find his family, on the way fighting invading Soviet troops as well as typical villains there are extended scenes of graphic violence. Later books head more into science fiction
